I am an articulate, gentle, dependable, and genuine man with a great laugh. I'm either laughing at or in the middle of telling . a great joke! I truly value a sense of humor, and the ability to laugh at yourself (I personaly never run out of new material.) I'm very well traveled for someone my age, and from very early on have taught myself to find beauty in the most mundane and unexpected. I love live music shows and my friends! My family continues to own a registered cattle ranch, and I enjoy so many aspects of the ranch. I sometimes crave just spending time there. But I truly love simultaneously sharing my time with friends and family members who also enjoy visiting the ranch to fish/hunt/or simply sweat outside doing chores. One of the most influential people in my life, my high school art teacher, taught me to appreciate not only art, but life . and more specifically to appreciate them both as a process rather than just a final product! So naturally, much of my life typically takes place outdoors with friends, specifically on the family farm. I would really love to consider myself a patron of the arts, but for now I don't quite have the time to indulge myself with as many performing art shows and museum exhibitions as I would like to partake in a year. Instead, I opt to enjoy the occasional night out to a dinner and a movie, and spending an extra hour in bed leisurely reading a good book. I am polite to a fault. My innate character flaw is that I'm a "giver". For example, nothing in the world pleases me more than the facial expression on a close friend's face immediately after receiving THE gift I've spent six moths combing the planet for. Don't worry ladies I'm not looking for an immediate relationship... But a truer friend you could not ask for.

A stimulating date with plenty of conversation about thoughtful observations made on art, film, theatre, etc. after an evening of culture. We'd probally stop for a few drinks or even enjoy a decadent meal out on the town before calling it a night.

... to better understand religons and cultures of the world! I'm sure that would include extensive research, enormous amounts of travel, and learning multiple languages to interview natives one-on-one.

I really hope to remain happy with who I am. I hope to continue to enjoy great relationships with friends and family. I'd like to stay in Texas, but I could be persuaded ($$$) to move while I'm still young. I will probally end up with yet another set of intials behind my name and I'm sure I'll be working hard... saving lots of money to live a very confortable retirement on the family farm. That is my ultimate long-term goal, besides meeting a life-long companion to share life's journey with.

I love spending time outdoors, out of the house, usually at my family's ranch. Live music and Texas artists are my current favorites. I love movies, but not movies about love. I am passionate about fishing on the coasts of Texas, and those few times a year I can spend with all my friends together in a single room.
